Your use of this website is governed by the terms and conditions set forth below (the “Terms of Use”). Please read them carefully. By using this website, you agree to comply with and to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these Terms of Use, you may not use this website and should exit from it now. Jiks Cleaning Services LLC, which owns this website, and its affiliate which operates this website (collectively, “Company,” “we” or “us”), reserve the right to change this website and these Terms of Use at any time without notice to you by posting such changes to this website.

ACCESS TO HOMES 

You have multiple options for providing us access to your home: The most convenient and safest method is to personally let the cleaner into the home or leave a key to your residence with a friend or neighbor. If we are providing you with recurring service you and Jiks Cleaning Services LLC must have a written agreement on how to access the home when you are not there. If you have an alarm system, please give access instructions to Jiks Cleaning Services.

For your safety, Jiks Cleaning Services and its employees will not agree to keep your personal key to your residence. In any circumstances, the cleaner is not able to access the residence, A cancellation fee will be charged. Please refer to the Cancellation Policy should Jiks Cleaning Services be unable to enter your home during the given arrival window.

PAYMENTS

Full payment is due at the time of your cleaning.

A credit card number must be kept on file with Jiks Cleaning Services. Your account will be charged the balance due the day before arrival and a notice will be sent. Any additional fees for services performed that are not included in the checklist and cancellation fees will be charged after each cleaning to the card on file. You may agree to pay by Zelle, PayPal, or Venmo. If other payment methods are used besides a credit card, payment will be collected before any services are performed. A credit card must be on file even if you decide not to use it as payment.

You will be contacted to provide another form of payment if the credit card on file does not authorize payment the day before. 

Refund Policy

You agree to abide by our 24-hour satisfaction guarantee. Any unsatisfactory service performed must be reported within 24 hours from the time the cleaner leaves the property. The 24-hour satisfaction guarantee is forfeited when the homeowner has performed a walkthrough in the presence of the cleaner when work is done. 

 

No refund whatsoever will be given on any of our services, by booking a service with Jiks Cleaning Services, you agree that you will follow our satisfaction guarantee policy. You agree not to dispute any charges performed by our company

Employee Solicitation

By agreeing to hire Hire Jiks Cleaning Services LLC to perform work at your home or your business, you agree that will not solicit any of its employees, this includes asking to perform services without company knowledge, asking employees to perform services that are beyond the scope of work, making our employees feel unsafe and or not comfortable while they are at your home or business. If any of these are reported by any of our employees, we reserve the right to hold any deposit paid prior to services and or cancel any ongoing contract. 

SCHEDULING

Recurring cleanings are scheduled according to our checklist and priorities discussed during your consultation. One-Time Cleanings are scheduled as standard blocks of time. Every effort will be made to complete your service within the time allocated. If at the time of the walkthrough, the cleaner decides the scope of work is not what was discussed and not on the checklist, the cleaner will decide if the allocated time will be sufficient to perform the service needed, if not, the cleaner will have to right to reschedule. We ask for your patience while we learn how to best clean your home and assure you that our maintenance cleanings will address the areas in need of additional attention as quickly as possible. Some homes may be subject to a first-time cleaning fee.

We strive to have the same staff members clean your home or office on a regular basis, however, this is not guaranteed. 

Due to the unique nature of your home, your service providers are unable to complete your cleaning within the amount of time requested, we may call you to ask for authorization to spend more time cleaning your home. We will inform you of additional costs accordingly before proceeding with the work. We reserve the right to charge additional fees to the final price of cleanings considered as heavy or inappropriate to the description of the home submitted at booking. To be safe, always check the information you entered into the booking form and remember that for us to perform our job you should leave the place uncluttered.

ARRIVAL WINDOWS

To ensure quality service for all clients, Jiks Cleaning Services cannot specify exact arrival times. Arrival windows allow our cleaners to handle all the variables of each day and each home without affecting the promises we make to you.

Service provider(s) will arrive within the following timeframes:

  • One hour window will be given between 8 am and 3 pm.

24-HOUR GUARANTEE

Since cleaning is a very personal and human service, we realize that occasionally an area may not be cleaned to your satisfaction. We are unable to offer a refund, but Jiks Cleaning Services LLC will happily re-clean any area that you are not satisfied with. Just let us know of any issues or concerns within 24 hours of your cleaning and we will do our best to make it right. Refer to our 24-hour cleaning policy above for further details. 

CANCELLATION

We understand it may be necessary to reschedule on occasion. If it is necessary to cancel or skip your scheduled service. Jiks Cleaning Services LLC requires notice of two business days. If we receive less than two business days’ notice, or if we cannot access your home, it will be necessary to charge you up to the full price of your cleaning. All future cleanings will remain unchanged. Please contact us as soon as possible to make any schedule changes. Schedule or service changes may not be made through your professional house cleaner.

Recurring services are priced at a discounted rate. Should you choose to cancel recurring service after only one cleaning, please note that our regular One-Time Cleaning charges will apply. The discounted rate will be charged in advance and if cancellation occurs, the difference will be charged after services are performed. 

CANCELLATION FEES

A cancellation fee of $50 dollars will be canceled if services are canceled after 48 hours of arrival time. 

DEPOSIT

A deposit of $50 must be paid at the time of booking. The remaining balance will be charged one day before arrival. If the credit card is declined and the client does not provide an alternate payment deposit will be forfeited.  

BREAKAGE/LOSS

Jiks Cleaning Services LLC is bonded and insured. If breakage/loss occurs, the notification must be made within 24 hours of service if no walkthrough is performed by the homeowner. If a loss of an item is reported, a police report must be filed before Jiks Cleaning Services LLC can take any action. 

SUPPLIES

Jiks Cleaning Services LLC uses safe and reliable professional-grade cleaning supplies to clean your home. However, if a client decides our products are not safe for their home or would like to have certain products used on particular surfaces, we are happy to accommodate your request. Please contact us to discuss this prior to your cleaning so we might provide instructions to your cleaners. 



Please note that if the products the client wants to use are not equipped to get the job done, the client will be notified and a recommendation will be made. If clients disagree, the cleaner will do his/her best to make it presentable. Our cleaners will not spend time trying to make your requested product work. (By agreeing to provide your own supplies, you agree that you are forfeiting the 24-hour satisfaction guarantee policy.)

PETS

Please secure all pets in their travel crates or kennels. Some of our employees may have severe allergic reactions or severe to pets, therefore, it is required that all pets are secured before arrival. Please answer all questions concerning pets during the consultation to keep our employees safe. 

SERVICE LIMITATIONS

  • For safety and insurance purposes, we do not climb higher than a two-step ladder.
  • We will attempt to reach all visible areas with either an extension duster or vacuum extension.
  • We do not move heavy appliances such as fridges, stoves, washer machines, and dryers. 
  • We cannot move items weighing more than 15 pounds.
  • We do not wash clothes.
  • We do not clean inside the dishwasher, washer machines, and dryers.
  • We cannot touch or move firearms in order to clean an area. Clients who own firearms require to move them to an area we do not clean.
  • We do not clean animal/human feces, urine, vomit, blood, or other similar bio-hazard materials.
  • We do not use bleach under any circumstances.
  • We clean “living space” only, which is the area in a home or facility that has air conditioning.
  • We do not remove or haul away trash, debris, furniture, or patios. This also applies to Post Construction Clean Up.

POST CONSTRUCTION CLEAN-UP

Before we report to a new construction job site, all equipment, tools, and/or debris must be removed. It is highly recommended that all work orders for construction have been completed before final clean-up services have been provided. The final clean we provide is a very thorough and detailed deep clean in preparation for the new homeowners to move in. We place no guarantee on this type of service for the simple fact that most construction companies completely fail to adhere to this policy and usually have contractors working inside of the home while cleaners are attempting to clean it, as they clean some areas contractors create additional messes within areas of the home that the cleaning crew has already cleaned. We take no responsibility for the outcome of cleanings that fall under “NEW CONSTRUCTION”. (24-HOUR SATISFACTION GUARANTEE DOES NOT APPLY TO NEW CONSTRUCTION.)

AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CLIENT (YOU) AND JIKS CLEANING SERVICES LLC. 

By accessing this website and booking any type of service, we assume you accept these terms and conditions in full. Do not continue to use Jiks Cleaning Services website if you do not accept all of the terms and conditions stated on this page.

The following terminology applies to these Terms and Conditions, Privacy Statement and Disclaimer Notice, and any or all Agreements: “Client”, “You” and “You're” refers to you, the person accessing this website and accepting the Company’s terms and conditions. “The Company”, “Ourselves”, “We”, “Our” and “Us”, Cleaners, refers to our Company. “Party”, “Parties”, or “Us”, refers to both the Client and ourselves, or either the Client or ourselves. All terms refer to the offer, acceptance, and consideration of payment necessary to undertake the process of our assistance to the Client in the most appropriate manner, whether by formal meetings of a fixed duration, or any other means, for the express purpose of meeting the Client’s needs in respect of the provision of the Company’s stated services/products, in accordance with and subject to, prevailing law of United States of America. Any use of the above terminology or other words in the singular, plural, capitalization, and/or he/she or they, are taken as interchangeable and therefore as referring to same.

CONTENT LIABILITY

We shall have no responsibility or liability for any content appearing on your Web site. You agree to indemnify and defend us against all claims arising out of or based upon your Website. No link(s) may appear on any page on your Web site or within any context containing content or materials that may be interpreted as libelous, obscene or criminal, or which infringes, otherwise violates, or advocates the infringement or other violation of, any third party rights.

JIKS CLEANING SERVICES RESERVES THE RIGHT TO TAKE BEFORE AND AFTER PICTURES WITHOUT PERMISSION. 

DISCLAIMER

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we exclude all representations, warranties, and conditions relating to our website and the use of this website (including, without limitation, any warranties implied by law in respect of satisfactory quality, fitness for purpose, and/or the use of reasonable care and skill). Nothing in this disclaimer will:

  1. limit or exclude our or your liability for death or personal injury resulting from negligence;
  2. limit or exclude our or your liability for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation;
  3. limit any of our or your liabilities in any way that is not permitted under applicable law; or
